Kroc IPJ on Hypermasculinity and Crime in Trinidad and Tobago

Nicknamed the "Good Morning America" of Trinidad and Tobago, Morning Brew and its host Hema Ramkissoon interviewed Kroc School graduate student Austin Galy and Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice Associate Director Jennifer Freeman about the influence of hypermasculinity on patterns of violence in the small Caribbean nation. Having worked on similar issues within the U.S., Galy shared some of his takeaways from spending three weeks researching and learning alongside experts including activist Ravi Lutchman and 2018 Woman PeaceMaker Sabrina Mowlah-Baksh.
